The amount of retreats I see out there that don’t have a real rhyme or reason to them are astounding. If there’s no purpose or WHY behind a retreat, it’s just a vacation that someone could plan on their own. Here are three ways to make sure YOUR retreat stands out from the rest.⁣

⁣𝟭.) 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: what point do you want to get across during your time with your participants? How do you want to help uplevel their lives? What tools do you want to share with them, what are you passionate about? Once you’ve got your WHY figured out, we want to be very international about picking our…⁣

⁣𝟮.) 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Your location should be aligned with your retreat theme. Are you teaching about the chakras and subtle body energy, but looking at leading your retreat a surfing venue? Are you looking to teach about Ayurveda, without looking into the food that’s served at the retreat center? Your location should 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 your teachings and vice versa.⁣

⁣𝟯.) 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀/𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹. If you’re teaching about divine feminine energy, you might plan a water ceremony or ask a local movement teacher to teach a specific kind of dance or incorporate art into the week. If you’re theming about restoration and slowing down, you could hire someone to lead a sound bath or a breath work class. Obviously people are coming for YOU and YOUR offerings, but it’s totally OK to add something else outside of your scope of expertise (if you need to)- it shows your dedication to your students and your desire to help them evolve.⁣

⁣✨Aligning your 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲, 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 are going to make your retreat stand out from the rest and will make your students eager to come back for the next one!⁣
